July 4, 2026, marks the nation's semi quincentennial − its 250th birthday since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. 1776-2026. We will be making a red, white & blue patriotic row quilt to celebrate. (You can use other colors if you choose. Almost all of the blocks will work with any fabric.)
Make flying geese 2 1/2” x 4 1/2”
Make 30 in any color pattern
Sew together on 4 1/2” side
Row should measure 4 1/2” x 60 1/2”

The first row will be 10 stars. Make each star a 6 1/2” block. Any kind of stars you want in any color combination you want. Sew them together in a row. Your row will be 60 1/2” wide. For example, sawtooth, friendship, woven, diamond, ribbon, barn, Ohio or a combination. ️
